FrieslandCampina will not change the guaranteed price for November. The cooperative dairy group also expects the milk prices of the reference companies on which the guaranteed price is based to remain stable. However, the organic guaranteed price is falling.
FrieslandCampina has announced this. The guaranteed price for November amounts to € 34,25 per 100 kilos. So far, developments in the dairy market have remained fairly stable, despite the fact that the second corona wave is leaving its mark on the European Union.

Influence of corona on the market
The big question is how the sale of dairy products will go if further lockdowns are announced in European member states. And what the dairy market will do if the milk supply starts to increase seasonally. Previously has Arla increased the milk price for November.
The guaranteed price for organic milk falls by €1,50 compared to last month to €44,50. The price decrease includes a negative correction as a result of the milk prices of the reference companies that were overestimated in the past period, FrieslandCampina reports.
The FrieslandCampina guaranteed prices apply for 100 kg of milk with standard levels of protein (3,57%), fat (4,42%) and lactose (4,53%), excluding VAT. The amounts apply to conventional milk with an average supply of 850.000 kg of milk on an annual basis. For organic milk, the price for an annual supply of an average of 550.000 kg of milk.
