Arla adds another scoop on top of milk price
Arla comes in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator is the first processor to cross the bridge with an increase in the milk money for November. The basic milk price is increased by almost one euro per 100 kilos of milk compared to the price in October.

The Scandinavian dairy group has increased the basic milk price by €0,95 to €32,39 per 100 kilos of milk based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos and based on 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein. The underlying fat and protein prices are €3,74 and €4,49 respectively. Arla's Dutch suppliers can increase the milk price by a maximum of €3,67 per 100 kilos to €36,06 through bonuses and premiums such as VLOG and grazing.
On the road to recovery
With this increase, Arla seems to be on the way to recovery with the milk price. In recent months the basic price has been in the lower regions in the Milk Price Comparator Boerenbusiness. It depends on what the other processors will do for the November price, but it looks like Arla is slowly working its way back up.
Arla's organic milk flow is also on the way to recovery. Just like the price of conventional milk, the organic milk price has suffered a significant dip in recent months. Especially compared to last year's stable price. The organic price for November is €44,92 per 100 kilos of milk with an annual supply of 800.000 kilos. The underlying fat and protein prices are €5,16 and €6,19 per 100 kilos of milk respectively.
