The last month of the year has now arrived, but that has not yet caused too much commotion on the phosphate rights market. While demand has picked up cautiously, the price is not taking a step up this week.
The phosphate rights market is not yet extremely busy, but lots are being traded. The DCA quotation of phosphate rights remains stuck at €150 this week. Rights are traded, but these are not large parties. The trade in leasing rights is also not at a standstill. The DCA quotation of leasing rights remains stable at €35.
While buyers had a wait-and-see attitude last week, demand seems to be picking up somewhat this week. There is demand for both smaller and larger parties.
Last weeks
The last few weeks of the year have arrived and reportedly there is still residual demand in the market. Demand is therefore starting to increase, commission agents confirm. The payment of RVO's premium payment rights offers some more financial space and is expected to further increase demand. Because there is still sufficient demand in the market, there is probably no further price drop in the offing.
