The milk price increases in the first month of the new year by €1,44 to €30,86 per 100 kilos (4,3% fat, 3,5% protein and an annual supply of 650.000 kilos). The mutation is striking. The increase in the milk price is the result of an express request from the approximately 2.400 cooperative members to the management and board of directors of Milcobel, a spokesperson for the cooperative said. There has been dissatisfaction among suppliers about the level of the milk price for some time.
