Arla sprints in milk price comparison

The average European milk price in the LTO milk price comparison also increased during the month of November, achieving the sixth price increase in a row. The price level will increase by €0,11 to €33,37 per 100 kilos of milk. The level is still 1,7% below the average price of November 2019. The average milk price is not expected to change much in December.

In general, almost all milk prices have remained stable or increased. Milk processor Arla recorded the highest increase, with an increase of €1 the milk price amounts to €33,30. This means that Arla rises 2 places in the LTO price comparison and is currently in 8th place. It should be noted that Arla has the milk price for January has reduced again. Dairygold and Müller both increased by €0,50, FrieslandCampina kept the milk price unchanged in November. 

Leaders unchanged
The milk price of Granolo and Valio remains unchanged and the processors remain in first and second place in the milk price comparison. The only milk processors that made a reduction in November are the French parties Danone and Sodiaal, both of which are high in the rankings. Sodiaal reduces by €1 but remains in third place and Danone reduces by €0,40 but does not drop in the price comparison and remains in fourth place.
