DOC Kaas presents a basic milk price for February of €31,94 per 100 kilos, with 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. That is a decrease of €0,54 compared to the month . The reason is a downward revaluation of fat and protein prices. Where in January they amounted to €4,125 per kilo, in February it was €4,058 per kilo. A decrease of €0,067 per kilo.

In the milk price comparator van Boerenbusiness DOC Kaas now stands between FrieslandCampina and Arla, who have already announced their milk price for February. It is the only one of the 3 dairies to lower the milk price for February. Dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina put a plus of €0,75 per 100 kilos and Arla keeps the price stable.

Maximum milk price
Including all premiums (such as vlog, sustainability and grazing), the payment price of dairy processor DOC Kaas can rise to a maximum of €34,69 per 100 kilos. As a result of the drop, the processor drops down in the Boerenbusiness milk price comparison. Arla is now slightly higher with € 34,82 per 100 kilos. Both seem to be gearing up for a weaker dairy market, just like last month. This is more often the case in the first quarter of the year.
