The milk price of dairy processor DOC Kaas will return to the January level in March. That means that last month's minus is now reversed. How is the milk price of DOC Kaas now performing in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator?
In March, DOC Cheese comes with a basic milk price of €32,48 per 100 kilos, with 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. This is a plus of €0,54 compared to the month of February. In other words: the milk price has returned to January levels. The mutation is the result of movements in fat and protein prices. These caused last month's decline by falling to €4,058 per kilo. For the month of March, the fat and protein prices are again €4,125 per kilo and so the milk price will increase again.
In the milk price comparator of Boerenbusiness DOC Kaas has not yet made a step up, because FrieslandCampina and Arla have also increased their milk price for the month of March. FrieslandCampina sets an increase of €0,75 per 100 kilos and Arla increases the milk price in March by €0,50 per 100 kilos.
Maximum milk price
Including all premiums (such as vlog, sustainability and grazing), the payment price of cheese maker DOC Kaas can increase to a maximum of €35,23 per 100 kilos. The dairy processor therefore remains slightly below the price of processor Arla, where the maximum milk price for the month of March rose to €35,33 per 100 kilos.
