A-ware will not continue with the milk price increase of February and will keep the payment price for March unchanged. It is the first sideways movement for the cooperative since November.
The weighted actual milk price (WP) of A-ware shows the average monthly milk payment paid out. For the month of March this remains unchanged at €36 per 100 kilos. The AH milk flow remains at €39,74. The organic milk price, which is not included in the WP, is €50,79.
In Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator the basic milk price remains at €33,33 per 100 kilos. This is calculated for an annual supply of 1 million kilos and 4,42% protein and 3,57% fat. The maximum milk price, including bonuses, remains €39,58 per 100 kilos.
The upward trend will not continue
Last month A-ware introduced a significant increase and the milk price rose by no less than €0,85, but the increase will not be continued until March. This does not follow the example of FrieslandCampina and Arla, which did implement an increase before March. It should be noted that A-ware lags behind both cooperatives in the maximum milk price of the milk price comparator. In terms of the basic milk price, FrieslandCampina scores higher than A-ware.
