Arla raises milk price and makes significant catching up
Arla Foods significantly increases the advance milk price for April. In the Boerenbusiness milk price comparator, the dairy cooperative is skyrocketing and is catching up considerably.

Last month, Arla Foods increased its milk price for the first time in months. At the time, the advance price was increased by €0,50, but in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator has not yet gained any ground.
Surcharge Arlagården® Plus
For April, the advance price will be increased by no less than €1,50 to €34,46 per 100 kilos at 4,2% fat and 3,4% protein.
The financial compensation for Arlagården® As of April, Plus will no longer be paid as a surcharge, but will instead be added to the fat and protein values that are paid out as part of the raw material value. With this, the dairy cooperative is gaining significant ground in the Netherlands Boerenbusiness milk price comparator.
The basic milk price increases by €2,55 respectively to a price of €34,21. This is calculated at 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos. With this, Arla sprints away from the bottom of the milk price comparator. The maximum milk price also increases by €2,55 and is recorded at €37,72 per 100 kilos for April.
Organic milk price
Arla's organic milk price also increased. The advance price increases to €47,24 per 100 kilos. And in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator increases the price by €1,96 to €46,28. Arla continues its upward trend, while FrieslandCampina started a decline last month. Depending on what FrieslandCampina's milk price does for April, the ranking could change for the first time in months.
