Bel Leerdammer is also moving up

Bel Leerdammer itself publishes a milk price for April of €36,81 per 100 kilos, excluding VAT and after deduction of the ZuivelNL contribution. This price applies to an annual supply of 1,1 million kilos of milk of 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein. This price also includes the grazing and VLOG allowance that Leerdammer pays of €2 and €1 per 100 kilos respectively. This also includes the market premium of €0,25 per 100 kilos for dairy farmers who combine pasture and VLOG. Leerdammer's sustainability premium, which can amount to €0,60 per 100 kilos, is not included.

Stable in comparison
In the milk price calculation of Boerenbusiness Bel Leerdammer's basic milk price for April amounts to €34,88 per 100 kilos, based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos and 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein. It is an increase of €0,40 compared to a month before and the first plus in 6 months. The calculation was made on the fat and protein price of Leerdammer, which for April amounts to €2,95 per kilo and the protein value has been increased to €6,75 per kilo.

In Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator Bel Leerdammer is stable under FrieslandCampina, which has also increased the milk price for April (to €35,23 per 100 kilos). Arla Foods recorded a significant increase last month (+€2,55 to €34,21 per 100 kilos) and is now somewhat close to Bel Leerdammer. DOC Cheese follows further behind (€33,54 per 100 kilos).

Maximum milk price
The maximum milk price of Bel Leerdammer, including all bonuses, also increases by €0,40 and therefore amounts to €38,38 per 100 kilos. In the Milk Price Comparator Boerenbusiness Bel Leerdammer will remain in second place for the time being. There is a realistic expectation that A-ware and Cono Kaasmakers will exceed this milk price, but those dairy companies have yet to announce the milk price for April.
