myKWS: your own digital advisor at hand
Many growers have been making grateful use of the advice provided by KWS for years. In terms of cultivation and use of sugar beet, maize, Fast Spring Rye and Feedbeet. To further optimize our advice to you, KWS Benelux is now introducing the myKWS app. A digital advisor that you can consult 24/7 and support you in your work in the field and in the stable. In this way it is possible to optimally utilize the genetic potential of our KWS varieties.
myKWS is an app version that can be downloaded for free on your smartphone and Ipad, so it is not necessary to be in your office. If you are in the office, you will find that adjustments or notes you have made in the field are automatically synchronized with myKWS on your computer. Even if your own KWS advisor cannot be on site, myKWS accompanies you during the season with expert information and recommendations.
If desired, you can use the full range of functions directly on your smartphone. All central services such as the information from our advisors and your plots, for example the free vitality cards, are available at all times and are fully operational. This means that all digital benefits are available to you and you always have them at hand when you have purchased KWS seeds.
In the app you will also find an overview of the KWS advisors, including the person who is active in your region. Your KWS advisor will support you with specific information, even if he or she is not directly on site. If desired, you can also receive the most important information as a push notification.
Use the best tools
The free digital tool KWS Corn Seed Service is available in the myKWS app and can be activated at the start of the season. By registering your maize fields, 50% of the maize seed costs will be reimbursed, after damage in any form whatsoever has been found.
With help from Weathertool on the app, you are always aware of the current weather situation in your area and the forecast for the longer term.
in the tool Vitality control maize fields in the app you can see the plots you have already created and you can also add new plots. Switch to other views, such as the vitality maps, with one click.
Damage to sub-areas, planning of soil samples or special features of soil treatment? With the new tool field explorer you can mark exactly the relevant locations and add notes for later. You can also involve your KWS advisor in this. field explorer allows you to send important questions and comments directly to your KWS advisor.
In the computer version of myKWS you will also find the tools Drying cost calculator for corn en Sowing density and seed rate† Using Drying cost calculator for corn you can easily calculate the costs for drying your grain maize, among other things. the tool Sowing density and seed rate helps you to calculate the required amount of seed and the sowing density.
Download the free myKWS app now
Go to the Google Play store to download the myKWS for use on your smartphone. You can also use the app here to download. When you have done this, you can register yourself by logging in. This is a simple and one-time activity.
