Arla sets the tone for May with rising milk price
Arla Foods continues the positive trend of the milk price development, the milk price for May will be increased considerably.

Milk prices are currently in a good flow. During the month of March the average milk price and there were only 2 dairy processors who did not increase the milk price but kept it stable. Only positive price developments have been reported for April so far - although Vreugdenhil and Cono Kaasmakers have yet to announce the milk price for this month.
Arla Foods, on the other hand, has already published the milk price for the month of May. The milk price has risen considerably and this sets the tone. The advance price will increase by €1,50, just like in April, and is therefore €35,94 per 100 kilos. This is calculated at 4,2% fat and 3,4% protein.

In Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator With this increase, the basic milk price increases to €35,70 per 100 kilos. This is calculated at 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos. The maximum milk price increases to €38,81 per 100 kilos.
The organic milk price that Arla itself communicates increases to €48,44 per 100 kilos. In the comparator of Boerenbusiness quotes the price at €47,48 per 100 kilos.
