Milk price DOC Cheese continues to rise for May
FrieslandCampina and Arla previously announced that they would increase the milk prices for May, but DOC Kaas has now also announced the milk price for May. The dairy company continues the positive trend and there is again talk of an increase.

The basic milk price of DOC Cheese in the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator for May this amounts to €34,70 per 100 kilos. This is calculated based on 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. Compared to the previous month, the group is setting an increase of €1,06. The maximum milk price for May is €37,35.
It is the third increase in a row, but the price increase will not change much in the competitive position in the Netherlands Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. This is because FrieslandCampina and Arla have also already increased their milk prices for May. Both recorded a higher increase of €1,50 than DOC Cheese.
