Vreugdenhil milk price up, but losing ground
Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods is also adding a little extra to the milk price for April. It is the third consecutive monthly increase for the dairy processor after a prolonged period of stability.

Vreugdenhil has increased the milk price for April by €0,40. The correction has been made to both the fat and protein prices. The milk price that the dairy group itself communicates increases to €35,67 per 100 kilos. This excludes VAT, for an annual supply of 1,1 million kilos of milk, 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein and includes premiums for quality, sustainability and grazing. The dairy farmers who supply organic milk to Vreugdenhil receive €53,94 per 100 kg of milk for the month of April.
Milk price is losing ground in comparator

This is calculated based on 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. This means that the dairy group has dropped 2 places in the price comparator for April. This is because of the winter surcharge that the dairy company applies in the period from September to January.
