DOC Kaas significantly increases the milk price
DOC Kaas has significantly increased the milk price for June compared to May. For the cheese maker from Hoogeveen, this is the most significant price increase this year.

The total milk price that the dairy group itself communicates for June rises to €38,86 per 100 kilos. This is for an annual supply of 1.100.000 kilos with 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein, excl. VAT. Compared to the month of May, the milk price has increased by €1,38. And this is the most significant increase in the Cheese DOC this year. Last month, the part of the German DMK already increased the milk price by €1,06.
Difference with Arla reduced
In Boerenbusiness milk price comparator DOC's basic milk price increases to €35,99 per 100 kilos. This is calculated based on 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. The increase reduces the distance with Arla, which ranks above DOC in the comparator. Last month the difference was €1,10, but in June the difference is only €0,30.
The maximum milk price of DOC Cheese for June is €38,74. Here too, the difference with Arla is reduced to only €0,16. Last month the difference was €0,96.
