The Polish milk supply increased in April compared to last year. 1.070.000 tons of milk were delivered, an increase of 1% compared to April last year. This means that Poland is still growing as a dairy country. Production has just ended...
Production has never been this high, just like last month. This is because the Polish dairy industry is developing rapidly. Dairy in the country is made with increasingly modern stables with more production per cow.
Milk production is more than 6,2% higher than the 5-year average of 1.007.460 tons of milk. Which indicates that Poland is also increasing dairy production in the longer term. The content in the milk is still below the European average with a protein content of 3,33% and fat content of 4,13%.
Expectations
Polish milk production is currently around a seasonal peak that usually takes place in June. Milk production then decreases in the late summer and autumn months until it increases again in the winter months and spring.
