Milk price Arla steps aside in July
Arla Foods has announced the milk price for July. After 4 consecutive monthly increases, the milk price of the dairy group is now moving sideways.

The Scandinavian dairy processor leaves the milk price for July unchanged. This amounts to an unchanged €36,52 per 100 kilos of milk, as Arla itself communicates. The sideways price movement follows a period of 4 consecutive months in which the dairy group repeatedly increased the milk price. Last month the price increase was moderated somewhat, but Arla sees no room for an increase this month.
In Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator Arla's basic milk price remains at €36,29 per 100 kilos. This is calculated at 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an average annual supply of 1 million kilos. The maximum milk price, the milk price including all allowances and premiums that can be achieved, is still €38,90 per 100 kilos. Whether Arla will be able to maintain its ranking in the price comparator this month remains to be seen. The dairy company is the first to announce the milk price every month. What the competition will do will become clear later.
Organic milk price
The organic milk price that Arla publishes for July is €48,63 per 100 kilos at 4,2% fat and 3,4% protein. Compared to the price in June, this is an increase of €0,19 per 100 kilos. In the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator notes the organic milk price at €47,67 per 100 kilos. This is calculated at 4,41% fat, 3,47% protein and an annual supply of 800.000 kilos. The price increases by €0,22 compared to the price for June.
