The total milk price of DOC Cheese increases in July by €0,90 to €39,76 per 100 kilos. This applies to an annual supply of 1.100.000 kilos with 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein, excl. VAT. For the dairy processor it is the fifth consecutive month that a higher milk price has been communicated.

It is also the first participant in the July Boerenbusiness price comparator which increases the milk price. This means DOC is gaining ground in the price comparator. Last month the distance to Arla was already reduced, but this month DOC managed to take the lead. This is because Arla's milk price remains the same and that of FrieslandCampina decreases.

The basic milk price of DOC Cheese increases by €0,89 in the price comparator to €36,83 per 100 kilos. This is calculated based on 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. The maximum milk price is €39,63 per 100 kilos. DOC also manages to move up one spot and overtakes Arla, but FrieslandCampina still maintains an advantage over DOC with €0,60.
