Milk price Cono continues to follow a tight line
Cono Kaasmakers has again increased the milk price for June by slightly more than half a euro per 100 kg of milk. Because the cooperative cheese group has been doing this for several months, Cono's milk price is rising in a straight line in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. But is the cheese maker also the highest payer in June?

Cono itself communicates an average price of €37,73 per 100 kilos at 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein. This is a plus of €0,53 per 100 kilos compared to the month of May. The value of fat has increased by €0,07 to €3,29 per kilo, that of protein by €0,06 to €7,52 per kilo. Unlike competitors such as FrieslandCampina and Arla, who report the price of the coming month, Cono only publishes the milk price after the month in question.
In Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator the basic milk price for Cono for June amounts to €36,72, also an increase of €0,53 per 100 kilos compared to the month of May. This basic milk price applies to 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. This means that Cono ends up above competitors such as A-ware, Arla, Leerdammer and DOC Kaas, but it must tolerate FrieslandCampina above it in June.{{dataviewSnapshot(6_1625219533)}}
For the maximum milk price, which includes all possible (non-generic) premiums and surcharges, the cards are shuffled slightly differently. Cono's maximum milk price is €42,22 per 100 kilos, also a plus of €0,53 compared to May. Here, however, A-ware is the highest payer if you as a dairy farm can claim all premiums, with a maximum milk price of €42,73 per 100 kilos. A-ware and Cono thus keep the competition at a relatively wide distance.
