Boerenbusiness is a fast-growing online media company, providing market information 24 hours a day for top entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. The content is provided by a professional editor. Boerenbusiness brings news, analyses, market quotations, interviews, opinions and background information for progressive farmers and agribusiness in the Netherlands.

Each growing season we monitor the growth of maize and grass on 10 plots. From sowing to harvesting, we follow the state of the crop and everything that comes with it in content, data, photos, videos and interviews. We are looking for an intern who will sink his or her teeth into this project with us.

What is expected of you?

• You provide support in the organization of a project.
• You think along about the project.
• You establish and maintain contact with involved parties.
• You visit fields and you also collect data.
• You interpret and analyze the data.

What competencies do you need?

• You are pursuing an agricultural-related HBO education.
• You have a healthy dose of knowledge of developments in the agricultural sector, in particular of the structure of agricultural markets and agribusiness.
• You have a great empathy for the target group of Boerenbusiness.
• You are linguistically well-grounded, socially skilled and flexible.
• You work in a planned and structured way.
• You have strong analytical and organizational skills.
