DOC Kaas leaves milk price unchanged for August
DOC Kaas keeps the milk price stable for August. Where the dairy group managed to take the lead with an increase last month, it will be relinquished in August.

DOC Kaas keeps the fat and protein price for August at €4,676, meaning the total milk price remains unchanged at €39,76 per 100 kilos. This applies to an annual supply of 1.100.000 kilos with 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein, excl. VAT. It is the first time this year that the dairy processor has not implemented an increase.
No longer a leader
In July, DOC Kaas took the lead in the Boerenbusiness price comparator, but for the month of August the dairy processor is currently in second place with a basic milk price of €36,88 per 100 kilos. This is calculated based on 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. This puts it only €0,10 below leader FrieslandCampina.
The maximum milk price of DOC Cheese remains €39,63 per 100 kilos.
