DOC Cheese, part of the German dairy group DMK, communicates a basic milk price for September (i.e. without surcharges and deductions) of €37,89 per 100 kilos at 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein, excl. VAT and an annual supply of 1,1 million kilos. This is €0,53 per 100 kilos more than the milk price in August. The total milk price of DOC Cheese, including surcharges and deductions, exceeds €40 for the first time this year, at €40,29 per 100 kilos.
DOC Cheese above FrieslandCampina
In Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator the basic milk price of DOC Cheese for September amounts to €37,42 per 100 kilos at 4,42% fat, 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. This is €0,54 per 100 kilos higher than the milk price of August. This puts DOC Kaas on top in terms of payout FrieslandCampina in September, which has a basic milk price of €37,23 per 100 kilos in the comparator.
However, at the maximum milk price, or the price including all possible surcharges and deductions, the roles are reversed. DOC Cheese also has a maximum milk price above 40 euros for the first time: €40,17 per 100 kilos, also a plus of €0,54 compared to the previous month. However, that is €0,56 per 100 kilos lower than FrieslandCampina's maximum milk price. The maximum milk prices of A-ware and CONO for September have yet to be announced. These dairy companies have been at the top all year long in terms of maximum payout.
