Royal A-ware is closely following FrieslandCampina with the new October price that the company has published. Bare milk prices evade each other by only a quarter in the comparison of Boerenbusiness.
A-ware reports an increase in the current milk price of €1,25 per 100 kilos for October. According to the company, this brings the traditional basic milk price to €38,78 per 100 kilos. The pasture milk price is €39,84 and the price for the AH concept milk flow is €44,89.
Almost €45,00
This almost amounts to €45,00 per 100 kilos. The average of all milk flows (the weighted milk price, WP - comparable to FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price) is now €41,07 per 100 kilos, says A-ware.
FrieslandCampina At the beginning of this week, it set a guaranteed price of €39,50 per 100 kilos, which amounted to a plus of €1,50. Arla and DOC Kaas also increased their milk prices for October, but in more limited steps.
In Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator the basic October milk price of A-ware amounts to €38,49 per 100 kilos, the pasture milk price amounts to €39,74, while the maximum milk price goes to €44,74.
A-ware's organic milk price will be increased by €0,25 cents per 100 kilos to €54,09 per 100 kilos. This smaller step is in line with what other processors also show. The largest supply shortages are felt on the conventional dairy market and prices are rising the fastest, on the organic dairy market the situation is calmer and in France, for example, there is even oversupply.
The increases are very welcome for dairy farmers, because their margins have shrunk considerably due to the sharply increased prices for energy and feed, among other things.
