Polish dairy farmers supplied about 2021 tons of milk in August 1.059.000. That was just under 10.000 tons more than in August 2020. Milk production was 0,9% above the level of last year. Strong growth as in the months of March, April and May of this year is no longer the case. In June and July, supply was also around the level of the previous year.

Well above long-term average
The fact that the Polish milk supply has grown considerably in recent years is shown by the fact that the milk supply is well above the five-year average. Over the past five years, an average of 1.029.000 tons of milk was produced in August. This means that the current production in August is about 2,9% above the long-term average.

Most likely, milk production will contract seasonally in the coming months. The least milk is normally produced in Poland in December.
