FrieslandCampina appoints a new director for the Dutch market. Dustin Woodward will replace Bas Roelofs as director Consumer Dairy Netherlands as of 1 November.
Roelofs will start working as managing director of Strategic Integration. Yet Roelofs does not immediately let go of everything from his old position. He will continue to lead the 'Milk with Added Value' project until the end of the year. Roelofs has thus laid the foundation for sustainable Campina dairy products under the 'On the Way to Planet Proof' quality mark.
Woodward is Dutch, although his name might suggest otherwise. He will report to Jan Kruise, Senior Vice-President FrieslandCampina Food & Beverage Europe. Kruise was until recently director of Germany.
About 700 members are currently participating in the Planet Proof process, but not all of them are the same as in the beginning. FrieslandCampina is in the process of shifting part of its milk supply to the west of the country, so that the distance to the factory in Maasdam is smaller.
