Henk Bleker wants an apology from AgriNL company bosses

Interim chairman Henk Bleker of the NMV believes that the CEOs in AgriNL should apologize for scattering farmland with the cabinet formateurs.

Instead of discouraging farmers with their plans to surrender farmland, they should encourage young farmers, Bleeker believes. “In fact, for every hectare of land they have offered with their plan, they should put an amount of €100 into a fund for young farmers,” he suggests.

According to Bleker, if the NMV had been in AgriNL, it would either have been a good plan or it would simply not have happened.

Bleker is busy getting the NMV organization back on track. He cannot yet say whether that will work or how. Bleker expects to present his findings in early December. In the meantime, he is trying to give the NMV its own face again and to represent it in places where this is requested, such as on the board of ZuivelNL. The national board has authorized him to do so, he says.
