NZO director Oscar Meuffels is making the switch to Royal A-ware, from advocacy to the business community. At A-ware he becomes director of Public Affairs & Corporate Social Responsibility.
Meuffels has worked at the NZO since 2011, initially as Public Affairs Manager and since 2017 as Director. René van Buitenen will take over the position of director until a successor is appointed.
NZO chairman Hein Schumacher thanks Meuffels for his efforts. "Oscar led the NZO during a dynamic period, during which the dairy sector was confronted with complex themes and issues. Oscar has always served the interests of all members."
Big network
Meuffels brings a large network and a lot of knowledge of the international dairy world to A-ware, which is increasingly internationalizing. Meuffels will leave the NZO on December 1 and will join Royal A-ware on February 1.
