A-ware has considerably increased the milk price for November. What does this mean for the ratios in the milk price comparator of Boerenbusiness?
A-ware is thus anticipating the favorable conditions on the dairy market, where prices have risen sharply in recent weeks. Mainly the cheese prices pull hard on it. This is apparent from the DCA quotations for Gouda and Edam, which are now trading above €4.000 per tonne. Cheddar and mozzarella are also on the rise.
Bottom milk price above €40
Due to the plus, the bare milk price of A-ware now amounts to €40,03 per 100 kilos. This is calculated for an annual supply of 1 million kilos at the standard Dutch levels. The meadow milk is worth €41,28. In the Milk price comparator from Boerenbusiness A-ware scores above DOC Kaas and Arla and slightly below FrieslandCampina.
When we compare the maximum milk prices that can be achieved, A-ware takes the lead for the time being. The approximately 450 dairy farmers who participate in the Albert Heijn concept receive a milk price of €46,28. Such price levels have not been reviewed in the Netherlands for years and are a welcome compensation for the rapidly rising feed and energy prices in recent months.
