Vreugdenhil increases milk price in October

The milk powder producer pays a basic milk price of €42,42 per 100 kilos for the previous month. That is by far the highest basic milk price for this month, partly thanks to the winter bonus of €3,90 per 100 kilos.

The maximum milk price including allowances for sustainability and grazing is the highest achievable milk price at Vreugdenhil. There is no extra segment, such as with A-ware, FrieslandCampina or Cono. However, this top segment is still relatively narrow. More than 80% of dairy farmers receive a milk price including grazing allowance.
Vreugdenhil is still busy recruiting new suppliers. This happens in North Brabant, for example, but dairy farmers are also welcomed in Friesland or Overijssel.
