Thanks in part to an end-of-year bonus of €2,00, the price of Royal A-ware for the Better for Cow, Nature and Farmer milk for the month of December will rise to more than five tens per 100 kilos. Without this bonus, the processor increases the milk price by €2,25 compared to the previous month.
According to Royal A-ware's own statement, the price for 'Better for' (Albert Heijn) will increase to €50,69 per 100 kilos of milk. A-ware pays €44,58 for traditional milk, €45,64 for pasture milk. The weighted, actually paid milk price, averaged over all suppliers (the WP), is €46,87.
According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator a supplier receives €42,28 per 100 kilos plus a €2,00 bonus for standard milk without surcharges. The meadow milk price including bonus amounts to €45,53, the Better for milk price amounts to €50,53 per 100 kilos.
On average over the entire year, the basic milk price is €36,45, while the maximum milk price is an average of €43,37 per 100 kilos.
The December bonus from Royal A-ware has not yet been processed in the graph above. The ranking remains the same for the basic prices. When it comes to maximum surcharges, A-ware comes out highest. To date, A-ware has paid out increasing bonuses annually. Two years ago, €1,00 extra was paid, in December last year €1,50 and this year €2,00 per 100 kilos for deliveries in the last month of the year. Over the entire year, this means almost 17 cents per 100 kilos of extra milk money.
The Heerenveen processor also increases the organic milk price for December, by €3,00 (€1,00 via fat and protein and €2,00 bonus) to €57,31 per 100 kilos.
