Cono ramps up price hike for November
Cono Kaasmakers is gradually increasing the pace of price increases. In November, the cooperative recorded a plus of €1,64 per 100 kilos. The month before, the increase was over €1. Cono thus remains at the top of the milk price spectrum.

The basic price for the month of November is according to Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator at €41,78 per 100 kilos, the pasture price at €43,78 and the maximum payout price at €46,28 per 100 kilos. This is the price excluding VAT and after deduction of a 5 cent contribution for ZuivelNL.
The vast majority of Cono members receive the maximum milk price. Because Cono is a cooperative, the milk price now announced is an advance payment. A subsequent payment is also expected after the end of the financial year. Cono cannot make any statements about the amount, but a substantial amount is usually paid out annually.
Cheese is Cono's main product, with Beemster cheeses as its top brand. The cooperative also produces ice cream mix for Ben & Jerry's, among other things.
