Leerdammer also boosts December price
Cheesemaker Lactalis Leerdammer, like most other processors, gives the December milk price a big swing. With an increase of €2,54 per 100 kilos, the processor is even taking a bigger step than FrieslandCampina (+€2,47). Nevertheless, the bare December price is slightly behind that of FrieslandCampina.

According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator Leerdammer's standard milk price for December amounts to €42,22 per 100 kilos. On average over the entire year, this price is €36,76. Last year an average price of 34,41 per 100 kilos was paid.
Compared to the other dairy companies that have so far paid out a December prize, Leerdammer occupies a provisional third place. Suppliers can receive up to €3,25 per 100 kilos in surcharges on top of the basic milk price.
