The Dutch Dairy Farmers' Union (NMV) has postponed the election of a new board until May. Due to corona, the general members' meeting could not take place in December. The advantage is that there is now more time to prepare the desired adjustments.
This is reported by the NMV and those involved confirm this. Henk Bleker will therefore also remain as interim chairman for longer. He will have a new interim DB (daily management) next to him, on the recommendation of the national board. The interim board includes Henk Selles, Marion Logtenberg, Bertus Doppenberg, Henk van Egmond, Paul Gosselink, Jeroen van Maanen (photo), Gertruud Portegies, Gerrit van Schaick and Sjoerd de Vries. The last four are new directors. Van Maanen's return to a (temporary) management position is striking. It will become clear in May whether this will remain the case.
The interim DB will prepare new policy in the near future and advise and assist the chairman. Working groups have been set up for this purpose. Action by the NMV is also discussed in advance in administrative consultations.
