Royal A-ware increases the milk price for January by €1,00 per 100 kilos. Dairy farmers receive less milk money on their account for January because the December price was supplemented with an end-of-year bonus of €2,00 per 100 kilos.
According to Royal A-ware, the basic milk price has been increased from €42,58 in December to €43,58 per 100 kilos in January. The maximum milk price for the 'Better for' milk flow has increased from €48,69 to €49,69 per 100 kilos. According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator Royal A-ware thus sets a leading milk price for January.
In December, a total of €2,00 extra per 100 kilos was paid, but this was a one-off bonus at the end of the year. This bonus will no longer be available in January, but the prices for fat and protein have been further increased.
The weighted milk price, the WP, which represents the average of all milk prices paid, went from €44,87 (excluding bonus) to €46,07 per 100 kilos of milk.
Organic dairy farmers also gain €1,00 per 100 kilos and receive €56,34 per 100 kilos.
In Belgium, the milk price remains at the same price level as in December, which actually amounts to a price increase of €2,00 to a real price of €45,20 per 100 liters, with an annual volume of 1,3 million kilos.
