Eko-Holland keeps milk price at the same level
After three consecutive months of price increases, organic supply cooperative Eko-Holland keeps the milk price the same in February. The cooperative thus remains a few euros per 100 kilos above FrieslandCampina.

The regular organic milk price of Eko-Holland therefore remains at €53,95 per 100 kilos (excluding VAT and after deduction of 5 cents per 100 kilos for ZuivelNL). The group of biodynamic dairy farmers receives €58,55 per 100 kilos.
Despite the stabilization of the (advance) milk price for February, Eko-Holland pays almost €2,50 per 100 kilos more than FrieslandCampina does. At both cooperatives, the advance prices are also supplemented with (possible) subsequent payments. Both cooperatives together account for the vast majority of organic dairy farmers in the Netherlands.
Some Eko-Holland members receive an additional milk price. That is when they participate in special programs for specific customers.
Arla and A-ware pay a little more
A-ware, Arla and Vreugdenhil each also have groups of organic suppliers. The first two pay slightly more than Eko-Holland so far this year. Arla pays €54,22 per 100 kilos for February, Royal A-ware pays 55,74 per 100 kilos for the same month. Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods will publish later and has yet to announce the organic milk price for January.
