Dairy cooperative Milcobel increases the milk price for the month of February by 50 cents per 100 litres. With this the company is taking a more modest step than the month before, but Milcobel has chosen to express the positive results that are currently being achieved in the market in a higher milk price for the member suppliers.
The situation on the international dairy markets remains positive, the company said. The atmosphere at the international Gulfood fair in Dubai, where Milcobel is also present, is cited as an example of this.
The price increase increases the standard milk price to €43,50 per 100 litres, while the actual milk price paid at maximum premiums rises to €46,84 per 100 litres.
In the price comparison of Boerenbusiness Milcobel's milk price increases to €46,20 per 100 liters. This is the price at 4,2% and 3,4% protein and an annual supply of 1,3 million liters. Previously, A-ware set the milk price for February at a price at real contents and under the same conditions of €47,87 per 100 liters. In terms of rhythm, LDA is slightly behind the two companies mentioned and has only just announced the milk price for January. Arla pays a price at real contents of €42,08 per 100 liters.
