Although the market is trending unchanged, opinions about how trading is proceeding differ slightly. One trader notices slightly calmer demand, while another trader speaks of slightly revived demand. On balance, the market is broadly not significantly different. Supply and demand are nicely balanced.

Straw
In recent weeks, straw seemed more widely available. Although the supply still does not have to be pulled, straw sellers in France do not accept lower prices either. Providers then look for other buyers, it is reported. Demand continues at normal levels and the indicative price is therefore quite stable, at €130 per tonne.

Also the indicative prices for other roughage products, including silage maize (€72,50 per tonne), meadow hay (€185 per tonne), reed and red fescue (€145 per tonne), meadow meadow (€135 per tonne) and silage grass (€72,50. 55 per ton) are unchanged this week. The supply of good grass silage is still limited and higher prices are paid for silage of the right quality. There are sufficient pits for horses and young cattle and the prices are therefore considerably lower: between €65 and €XNUMX per tonne.

Beer spent grain on top
After months of price increases, the indicative price for spent grain has remained stable for the second week in a row. According to traders, it appears that the market has reached a top. A few parties notice some slight pressure on prices, but this is not supported by everyone. There are still some waiting times for the delivery of spent grains and the average indication price quotations therefore lead to a stable quotation. The high prices for other protein ingredients for feed support the market.
