Arla significantly increases milk price for March
Dairy giant Arla raises the milk price sharply in March. The increase is due to two factors: the milk price itself plus and a higher Vlog fee.

In Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator shoots up the maximum milk price of dairy Arla; from €45,25 per 100 kilos to €47,89 per 100 kilos. This is because €2,14 per 100 kilos of milk is added as a result of an increase in fat and protein prices. In addition, the reimbursement for GMO-free/Vlog-certified feed will also be increased by €0,50 per 100 kilos to €1,50.
Arla's organic milk price also rose sharply: from €54,33 per 100 kilos to €56,51 per 100 kilos.
Rising prices
Dairy giant Arla refers for the sharp price increase to the still rising prices, especially for dairy commodities, basic dairy products and the rising costs for agricultural entrepreneurs that have to be passed on.
