Milk price of PlanetProof member shoots through the 50 euros
After a short interruption in February, FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price will increase further. The organic milk price will also show a significant increase in the coming month.

The guaranteed price for March will increase by €1,50 to €46,50 per 100 kilos. FrieslandCampina expects the reference companies to further increase their milk prices, based on good global demand for dairy and a decline in milk supply. Reference company Arla, among others, increased the milk price for March already considerable.
Due to the increase, the basic milk price at FrieslandCampina is now just above the level of €45 per 100 kilos, according to the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. A PlanetProof participant who receives the maximum payout price will see this increase to €50,43 per 100 kilos. This has been calculated based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos and the standard fat and protein contents in the Netherlands.
By limit €50
The fact that conventional milk is now paid above the €50 limit is a unique situation in a historical context. Normally, these relatively high price levels are only reserved for organic milk. The organic guaranteed price for March also shows a considerable increase, from €2,25 to €54,25 per 100 kilos. In contrast to conventional milk prices, which have risen considerably, organic milk prices have shown a modest increase in recent months.
