Dairy company Royal A-ware is increasing the milk price for the month of March. The company is taking a similar step as Arla, but is increasing more than FrieslandCampina and DOC Kaas.
According to its own statement for March, A-ware pays a basic milk price of €46,94 per 100 kilos and a maximum milk price (including Albert Heijn surcharge) of €53,03 per 100 kilos. The weighted average of all milk prices paid at A-ware amounts to €49,44 per 100 kilos. These prices apply to average annual volumes of A-ware's suppliers. The organic milk price goes to €58,77 per 100 kilos.
According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator the basic milk price increases at 1 million kilos per year to €46,63 per 100 kilos. The maximum milk price, including all allowances, amounts to €52,88 per year. The company thus pays the highest conventional milk price. The basic milk price exceeds that of Arla and FrieslandCampina, but remains 13 cents behind DOC Cheese.
With the organic milk price, Royal A-ware pays the highest price in this segment at €58,03 per 100 kilos.
