The February milk price of Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has to do without a winter bonus, but does receive an increase in the normal milk price. The organic milk price remained virtually stable.
The basic milk price of Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods went to €44,84 per 100 kilos. This is a decrease compared to the €47,40 that suppliers received in January, but this is due to the end of the winter surcharge of €3,90 per 100 kilos. The allowance is paid from September to January. This loss will be partly offset by an increase in the standard price of €1,34 per 100 kilos.
In recent months, Vreugdehil Dairy Foods has consistently set the highest basic milk price due to the high winter bonus, according to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator. Now, without this supplement, Vreugdenhil still manages to achieve one of the highest basic milk prices.
The meadow milk price, which is also the maximum milk price, amounts to €46,34 per 100 kilos. Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods also increased the organic milk price. It did not increase much, but with an increase of 23 cents per 100 kilos it still amounted to €51,55 per 100 kilos.
