This is evident from the latest announcements in Belgian dairy. LDA sets the milk price for February at standard contents at €44,50 per 100 liters. At actual levels, as used in Belgium (4,3% fat and 3,5% protein) and an annual supply of 1,3 million kilos, this amounts to a price of €47,20 per 100 kilos. That is exactly one euro more than Milcobel pays under the same conditions.

Uncertainties surrounding war in Ukraine
According to a spokesperson, LDA has opted for a modest increase due to the many uncertainties surrounding the war in Ukraine.
The two other major parties on the Belgian market: A-ware and Arla, are successively above and slightly below. A-ware pays €47,87 for February, Arla €45,18. For the latter this includes surcharges.

Milk prices for March are partly already known
A-ware and Arla have already set a milk price for March and will pay €49,41 and €46,68 per 100 liters respectively for that month.
