The Belgian dairy cooperative Milcobel is catching up with the milk price for March. €2,00 is added to the milk price. Milcobel is improving both compared to previous months and the competition. The dividend for 2021 is also known.
For March, Milcobel has set a standard milk price of €45,50 per 100 liters, compared to €43,50 for February. Translated into real levels, as used in Belgium, this amounts to an actual price of €48,20 per 100 liters for an annual delivery of 1,3 million liters. That is still more than €1,20 less than A-ware pays in Belgium, but the current increase will reduce the gap compared to this competitor somewhat.
Milcobel remains clearly above what Arla pays for March. The price including all surcharges amounts to €46,68 per 100 liters. Laiterie des Ardennes is expected to announce a milk price for March in two weeks.
