From next Monday, April 4, Aldi Germany will historically raise the prices for dairy and meat. The discounter is thus anticipating the rapidly rising purchase prices. A price increase of no less than 30% is planned for the butter price, a spokesperson tells the West German General Newspaper.

In mid-March, Aldi already announced that prices in all product groups are going up. This concerns a total of more than 400 articles.
It is not known whether Aldi Netherlands also has price increases in mind. The spokesperson could not be reached for comment Friday afternoon.
