A-ware moves April milk price to the forefront

Royal A-ware raises the milk price for April by €1,50. This means that the payment for the Beter-voor milk flow (Albert Heijnmelk) is almost at the same level as a number of organic milk prices at other processors. The company itself pays more than € 5,00 more for a kilo of organic milk.

The difference between the conventional milk price and the organic milk price is now much smaller across the board than in previous years. Conventional milk has risen much more in price due to shortages in the market. A-ware itself reports that it pays a basic milk price of €48,44 and a maximum milk price of €54,53 per 100 kilos, while the weighted average milk price (WP) for April is €50,94.

The pasture milk price amounts to €49,38. This means that A-ware has yet to give way to competitor DOC Kaas, but with a maximum milk price of €54,38 per 100 kilos for the Albert Heijnstroom, a new maximum record payment price is set for conventional milk. The organic milk price is also increasing by a clear step.
