Royal A-ware takes over 'De Hollebeekhoeve' in Kruibeke (Belgium). The dairy company has reached an agreement about this with the bankruptcy trustee of the company that was declared bankrupt on 15 March.
A-ware takes over the installations and offers employees the opportunity to join A-ware. "The bankruptcy is very unpleasant for everyone involved. This leads to great uncertainty, especially for the employees. We have now offered a job to those involved. Together with them, we are now focusing on restarting activities in Kruibeke. Received at short notice all stakeholders more information about this," says Jan Anker, CEO Royal A-ware.
Royal A-ware has been active in Belgium for several years. This acquisition in Kruibeke offers the dairy company opportunities to accelerate its growth ambition in Belgium and it also fits in with the strategy of serving customers with the widest possible product range. In addition, it offers growth opportunities for A-ware's current milk suppliers in Belgium. This will create space for new dairy farmers.
