DOC Cheese touches almost € 50,00 with bare price
DOC Kaas increases the milk price for May by double the amount of the previous month. In other words: at €2,15 per 100 kilos. According to its own statement and with a volume of 1,1 million kilos, the cheese group pays well over € 50,00 per 100 kilos. What does DOC Cheese do in the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator?

De Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator indicates a basic (advance) milk price of €49,98 per 100 kilos, based on an annual supply of 1 million kilos of milk. The milk price including grazing premium, as received by most DOC members, amounts to €51,73 per 100 kilos. A maximum of €52,73 can be made. That includes Vlog premium.
Average meadow milk price is still higher
Because FrieslandCampina and Arla Foods increased much more than DOC Kaas/DMK in May, DOC has partly lost the lead it previously had over the competition. With the meadow milk price up to and including May, DOC Kaas still pays slightly more than FrieslandCampina. DMK has set a milk price for Germany for May of €48,00 per 100 kilos, but with lower fat and protein contents (4,2% fat/3,4% protein).
