Dairy farmer Thijs de Boer (Indijk, Friesland) was one of the first farmers to try a bedding with clay minerals in his cubicles. The ready-to-use mixture with straw has significantly improved claw health and manure on his farm after more than a year of spreading.

Gradually in the manure pit
The clay minerals gradually enter the manure pit via the grids. De Boer is also experiencing effects from this: ''I always had a lot of foam on the manure and now not at all. You get a nice homogeneous product, which is of course also good for your country.”
