Royal A-ware is increasing the milk price for the month of June by €4,00 per 100 kilos, just like FrieslandCampina did. This makes it the third Dutch processor that pays out at least €55,00 per 100 kilos for this month.
According to A-ware's own statement, the price paid for June varies from €55,44 per 100 kilos for traditional milk to €61,53 for the 'Better for' milk flow (Albert Heijn). The weighted milk price (WP, comparable to FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price) is €58,49 per 100 kilos. The guaranteed price of the cooperative competitor is lower at €56,50.
According to the Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator A-ware pays a basic milk price of €55,14 per 100 kilos, which puts the company between DOC Kaas and FrieslandCampina.
Meadow milk price benefits from seasonal premium
Thanks to an extra seasonal bonus of €2,00 per 100 kilos, the meadow milk price is €58,39 per 100 kilos. For the time being, this is by far the highest price for this milk flow. With the Albert Heijn stream, it also comes out as the highest payer for the coming month.
The average meadow milk price of A-ware also benefits from the seasonal premium. As a result, the average milk price over the first six months is €50,03 per 100 kilos, which is slightly more than FrieslandCampina and DOC Kaas pay. Over the first half of 2022, these pay out an average meadow milk price of €49,73 and €49,76 per 100 kilos, respectively.
Organic milk price
The organic milk price of A-ware will be increased by €2,25 to €62,51 per 100 kilos. This places it in the Organic Milk Price Comparator in terms of pricing between FrieslandCampina and Arla.
