DOC boss over boss with milk price increase in July
DOC Kaas raises the milk price for July with the biggest step for the time being. There is €4,30 per 100 kilos on top of the milk price. That is more than what the members of FrieslandCampina received, but DOC Kaas does not achieve the highest milk price.

With a basic milk price of €58,57 per 100 kilos, DOC members still lag 66 cents behind FrieslandCampina. The meadow milk price is coming closer. It is 41 cents behind, as shown Boerenbusiness Dutch Milk price calculator. Dairy farmers can also enter their own levels in the milk for comparison at an individual level.
On average over the period from January to July, the two cooperatives do not differ much in terms of payment. FrieslandCampina pays an average (basic) milk price of €50,01 per 100 kilos over the first seven months of the year, DOC Kaas pays an average of €49,52. Arla pays an average of €48,05. These prices are exclusive of VAT, after deduction of 5 cents for ZuivelNL and for an annual supply of 1 million kilos.
